This was never produced after the factory samples as wonderfest for that year was cancelled due to a damaged lift in the building they were to host it in.  The show had to be cancelled, and therefore the toys had to be cancelled also.  This is one of a few prototype samples that were produced before the convention was cancelled.  It has never been released since, and at this time, probably never will.  With the release of Takara Animated BLack Convoy Limited Edition, this could not be a better time to get yourself one of the few (probably 20 or less in circulation) originals that exist.  This is rarer then some Lucky Draw transformers, and unlike the Lucky draw figures, were never actually given out to people.   It is stamped with the "NOT FOR SALE" factory stamping, and has all the markings on it from has/tak.

I think you should just keep it instead for your collections. $999 is simply too much for most toy collectors. Maybe you should post it on eBay maybe someone really did want to grab it.

actually i have 2 ppl interested, one is trying to gather money, and hte other is trying to bargain with me.  I'll try to sell it personally first.  could go for loads on ebay right now though with the animated black convoy release, so maybe I should stick it on ebay with like a crazy BIN and best offer

what would a prototype nfs  sdcc  nemesis commander be worth i have one in my collection he has a blue regular optimus prime head and says not for sale across the top of his cab under the gun/canopy
